Jon worked as a marine carpenter for 30+ years at Vic Franks Boatyard. He retired about 10 years ago and was living on his boat at Shilshole. He died about 3 or 4 years ago. I knew him from JHS and Shorecrest and much later we worked together at the same shipyard. I always liked his calm demeanor and appreciated his carpentry skills. I was shocked to hear that he had died but I was not able to find out any details. ~Bob Geiszler

Sorry to hear of Jon's passing. My condolences to family and friendsCandis Bert (Berggren)
I just now read about Jon Brothers passing...I am so sorry to learn of this...I haven't seen him since High School, but I do remember that he & I went steady, & I wore his Pearl Tietack...at least until my parents discovered it, & told me it wasn't happening...It sounds as though he lived a rewarding & peaceful life...This does once again prove how swiftly life goes...RIP Jon...Candy Bert (now Berggren)💙☮💙
