Our former classmate Constance Towner (Connie) and I became best friends in our first year of college. We were each other's bridesmaids in our wedding's and even lived together for a brief time.
Our families always spent all major holidays together and I was with her when she gave birth to her only son. Her older sister Charlotte and are still best friends and see each other often.
Connie moved down to Seaside, OR around 2012 to a beautiful home 50 feet from the ocean. I just got back from visiting her son and husband a few weeks ago with her sister Charlotte.
In 2015, by the grace of god 👼🏻 I was able to make it to the hospice hospital in Oregon in time to see Connie before she passed.
I miss my best friend every day. She had excellent taste, a wicked sense of humor and a huge heart ♥️
